Spotify reveals Argentina's most streamed artists and songs in 2023

Streaming giant Spotify returns with its annual round-up of the globe's listening trends for the year – who were the artists topping the charts in Argentina?

Spotify is back for its annual edition of Wrapped, beloved by listeners across the world, and the streaming giant has revealed that Ke Personajes, Bad Bunny, María Becerra and Tini were among the most-listened to artists this year.

Launched in 2016, the streaming platform’s campaign allows users to view a series of data and statistics on their listening habits and activity on the platform from the past year. Users get insights on the total amount of minutes they’ve streamed, their top artists, and more.

Additionally, Spotify zooms out and takes a look at global listening trends. Individual countries' most coveted artists and songs from the year are also highlighted.

Swifties carried Taylor Swift over to the title of Most-Streamed Artist Globally for 2023, bumping over Bad Bunny into the #2 spot. The Weeknd, Drake, and Peso Pluma followed to complete the top five list.

Bizarrap and Shakira’s beloved Music Session #53 also scored a spot in the top 10 Most-Streamed Songs Globally.

In Argentina, Ke Personajes claimed the spot for Most Listened Artist. Led by vocalist Emanuel Noir, the Mexican cumbia group also held three of the top five Most Listened Songs in entire country: 'Un Finde' with FMK and producer Big One at #1; 'Ya No Vuelvas,' with Luck Ra and La K’onga at #2; and “Pobre Corazón” with Onda Sabanera at #5.

Known for his 'Crossover' collaborations, Big One also charted at #3 with his song 'En La Intimidad,' alongside Emilia and Callejero Fino. In fourth was 'M.A (Mejores Amigos),' by BM and producer Phontana.

The second Most Listened Artist was none other than Puerto Rico’s global phenomenon, Bad Bunny. Argentine natives Maria Becerra and Duki followed at #3 and #4 respectively, and Colombian reggaetonero Feid held spot #5.

Argentina’s Most Listened Album was Cupido by teen actor turned pop star Tini. The singer-songwriter’s fourth studio album included 14-tracks worth of pop, cumbia, and electronic fusion.

Maria Becerra’s sophomore album La Nena de Argentina followed at number two. Capping off an impressive year that saw her claim four Latin Grammys, the 'Corazón Vacío' singer recently announced that she had sold-out a date at River Plate's Monumental stadium – an achievement that makes her the first Argentine female in history to headline a show at the iconic venue.

Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny sat strong at number three, despite having a May 2022 release.

Quevedo’s groundbreaking debut Donde Quiero Estar took the fourth spot, and Karol G closed off the list at number five with Mañana Será Bonito, recently named Album of the Year at the Latin Grammys.
