A new report by leading pornography website PornHub shows that appetite among Argentines for adult material is growing, with women the main consumers.
Argentina climbed Pornhub’s global rankings for adult content consumption in 2025, the report showed, with women accounting for the majority of traffic: 56 percent, according to the report.
The platform’s 2025 review, based on aggregated and anonymised user data, placed Argentina 13th among the countries generating the most traffic, up one spot from the previous year.
The report broadened its focus beyond performers and traditional categories, highlighting viral search trends, regional differences and changing patterns linked to gender and age.
In Argentina, search behaviour remained broadly consistent with 2024 data. The term “Argentina” again topped the list of most common searches, followed by “hentai,” “lesbianas” and “milf.”
The most notable finding, however, came with the gender breakdown. Women represented 56 percent of PornHub’s traffic from Argentina in 2025, compared with 44 percent for men, a gap of 12 points.
Argentina shared second place globally for female participation with Colombia, with both countries showing year-on-year increases of around five to six percent.
Globally, women made up 38 percent of total visits to the platform, continuing a long-term upward trend despite slower growth – female traffic rose by 1.5 percent worldwide in 2025, compared with a seven percent jump the previous year.
Time spent on the platform in Argentina also increased. Average viewing time rose from eight minutes and 49 seconds in 2024 to nine minutes and 44 seconds in 2025. Overall global viewing time averaged nine minutes and 33 seconds, slightly down on the previous year, with women spending around 15 seconds longer per visit than men.
