Chamberlain or Churchill, Mr President?

The clear question is Chamberlain or Churchill, Mr. President?

Neville Chamberlain, British Prime Minister (1937–1940), viewed Adolf Hitler as a leader with whom he could negotiate in good faith to avoid war, aiming to appease him through territorial concessions. Following their 1938 meetings, Chamberlain mistakenly believed Hitler was a man of his word and declared "peace in our time.”

At the same time Winston Churchill (1874-1965) warned against Adolf Hitler throughout the 1930s, calling him a "monster of wickedness" and a direct threat to peace, yet was largely ignored during Britain’s policy of appeasement.

Churchill highlighted Germany’s rapid rearmament, the terror potential of its Air Force, and the inevitable war that would follow, culminating in his famous 1938 prediction: “You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour, and you will have war.”

Following Britain’s agreement to let Germany annex parts of Czechoslovakia, Churchill declared it a "total and unmitigated defeat." He told his contemporaries they were living in a "fool's paradise.”

So did the entire world with the 1979 Iranian Islamic Revolution that transformed Iran from a pro-Western monarchy into an anti-Western theocratic Islamic terrorist Republic. They profoundly reshaped the Middle Eastern power dynamics, accelerating the rise of a militarised Islam with advanced missiles and an atomic pretended arsenal, creating the most lasting geopolitical, security, and social consequences.

They established a Shiite theocracy focused on exporting its ideology, triggering at the same time a long-lasting regional instability through multiple proxy’s terrorist forces (Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Houthis, as well as the hidden finance of criminal gangs in different countries).

A CNN investigation shows that “at least 17 incidents have been claimed by a shadowy online group calling itself Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI), roughly translated from Arabic as “The Islamic Movement of the Companions of the Right(eous)” – which only emerged online in March and says it’s targeting “Zionist” interests.”

Finally, they found “apparent links between HAYI and an Iran-backed Shia paramilitary group. It has also found that what appear to be Iran-linked operatives are using social media to attempt to recruit individuals to carry out surveillance and potential violence against sites linked to the Jewish community in Europe.”

However, like Hitler years before, the Ayatollah's regime imprisoned, hanged, and murdered more Iranians than others (more than 40,000 youths who dare to defy dictates were killed in a couple of months). It subjugates women and prevents any kind of representative democracy by choosing very dependent persons according to the preferences of a few clergymen.

The clear question is Chamberlain or Churchill, Mr. President? How can you be remembered, the one that allowed the continuation of Hitlerian Ayatollah's Regime with the tragic consequences it will imply? Or "Blood, Toil, Tears, and Sweat" waging a war against this monstrous tyranny?

This key decision is only yours.
