Argentina's president announces agreement to freeze tourism prices

The agreement includes hotels, restaurants and travel agencies. The Tourism Ministry will monitor prices through weekly surveys throughout the season.

Argentina's President Alberto Fernández has announced an agreement to maintain stable prices in the tourism sector during the 2022 summer season that will be in force until March 16 throughout the country, according to a government communiqué.

Fernández led the signing of the commitment act at the Presidential Palace. The event was attended by representatives of the national tourism chambers and entities, as well as the Tourism & Sports Minister Matias Lammens.
