President Javier Milei will deliver a 'Cadena Nacional' nationwide broadcast next Monday, in which he plans to reassert Argentina's economic course and reiterate key messages to voters ahead of next month's midterm elections.

Mile's address will air next Monday (September 15) at 9pm, with the message primarily focused on his government's efforts to pass a Budget bill through Congress – a fact it has not managed for the past two years.

“Next Monday, September 15, at 9pm, the President will speak on a Nationwide Broadcast to present the 2026 Budget,” wrote Presidential Spokesperson Manuel Adorni in a post on social media.

The announcement comes at a time of economic and political turbulence for the government, which finished a distant key elections in Buenos Aires Province last weekend and is facing corruption allegations potentially implicating top officials, including Presidential Chief-of-Staff Karina Milei, the head of state's sister.

The presentation of the 2026 Budget is an essential milestone to outline the fiscal roadmap and priorities of the administration for the next financial year, briefed government officials.

Milei’s message will seek to provide certainty on the economic path and to explore the guidelines of his policy to adjust and control public expenditure, they added.
